The over expression of csgD and csgA.

Curlin subunit gene D (csgD) gene, a transcriptional regulator that regulates csg genes involved in the Curli assembly, is an important regulator of biofilm production. Curlin subunit gene A (csgA) can produce csgA protein which is the major subunit of curli. By overexpressing csgD and csgA, our bacteria can bind to the contact lens better with biofilm, reducing the risk of exposure to the environment.
