U6 promoter

U6 promoter is a strong driver of gRNA production, and was used to drive the expression of sgRNA in lineage tracing for eukaryotic expression systems. We used it to initiate the transcription of hgRNA(sgRNA).The U6 promoter has a clear transcription start point G. All promoter elements are located upstream of the transcription start point. The 5′-TTTTT-3′ sequence located downstream of the promoter is used as a transcription termination signal, and the transcription product will be added at the 3′ end of 2 -4 oligomeric U.
