YeaR Regulatory Promoter

The yeaR promoter is a part of the yeaR-yoaG operon which plays a role in nitrate and nitrite-responsive control in E. coli. PyeaR is activated by the response regulator NarL and repressed by the protein NsrR. Since pyeaR is natively present in E. coli, it can be used as a part of the two-component system, NarX/NarL.
