Design Notes

The MMLV gag-pol polyprotein encodes 3 proteins together, the capsid protein, the reverse transcriptase, and the protease which separates the capsid protein and the RT. The glutamine between the gag gene and the pol gene is a point mutation from X to Q to ensure the read-through expression of the polyprotein.
