sRBS + CcaR v2.0

This part incorporates the CcaR encoding gene under a strong ribosome binding site [sRBS(250)].

Usage and Biology

Biology

The CcaR encoding sequence is attached to a strong ribosome binding site [sRBS (250)] for the constitutive production of the CcaR protein in the cell under normal metabolic conditions.

Usage

This part is used as an essential component of the green light-sensitive CcaSR system. In association with the BioBrick encoding for the CcaS protein the green light-inducible protein expression system is established.
