CMV

Contents: CMV

What is it?: A basic part; it is a promoter and allows for constitutive expression of a gene.

What does it do?: This promoter expresses continually, and was put in our genetic circuits to continually produce the chemokines we were testing.

How to use it?: This part was used in Type IIS Cloning when we made our composite parts. See more on the Parts Overview Page or MIT iGEM 2019 wiki: <a href=https://2019.igem.org/Team:MIT/Parts>.
