ZWF (Glucose-6-phosphate 1-dehydrogenase)
ZWF (Glucose-6-phosphate 1-dehydrogenase) catalyzes the oxidation of glucose 6-phosphate to 6-phosphogluconolactone in the pentose phosphate pathway. (Due to the knock-out of PGI, there is a metabolic flux shift toward the pentose phosphate shunt using this enzyme to allow the bacteria to survive.) This part is used to increase flavin production.
