T7-RBS-DLDII Operon-Ter
This T7-RBS-DLDII-LLDP-ter composite part is made of LLDP part (BBa_K3102014) and the DLDII operon. The LLDP enzyme allows the transport of L-lactate across the membrane of E.coli while the DLDII operon will converts lactate into pyruvate through the D-lactate dehydrogenase enzyme coding in the operon. This composite part is crucial for the overproduction of lactate and its transport into the medium.
This construct is enriched with T7 promoter, RBS and terminator.
