Horseradish peroxidase

Coding sequence of horseradish peroxidase (HRP) C1A codon optimised for Pichia pastoris.

HRP is often used as a conjugate with antibodies and detected by chemiluminescence.

The underlying reaction mechanism is described below: HRP+ H2O2 = oxidased substrate
