Theophylline inactif aptazyme

an aptazyme is an aptamer-ribozyme combinations with intrinsic RNA cleavage activity. this aptazyme is specific for the theophylline (liguant). Theophylline (1,3-dimethylxanthine) is a drug used in therapy for respiratory diseases and is structurally similar to theobromine and caffeine He is composed in 3 differents part, a twister ribozyme module, a communication module and an aptamer module This aptazyme is an inactive aptazyme, this mean that the ribozyme part is mutated and the aptazyme lost his capacity to self-cleave. you can use it as a negative control fot the part: BBa_K2923001
