Usage

ArsR operator is consist of an ArsR promoter and binding site which the ArsR repressor protein binds to. When combined with ArsR, the gene behind can not be transcribed. Conversely, when the ArsR dissociates from the promoter in the presence of arsenite, the gene behind can work as normal.

Biology

In order to control the expression of target gene by changing the concentration of As(III), we design a operator composing of ArsR promoter and ArsR repressor protein binding site.
