Gal2 promoter+NanoLuc+ADH1 terminator

We constructed this pRS416 plasmid carrying the genes of NanoLuc with the Gal2 promoter and ADH1T terminator by harnessing the principles of yeast homologous recombination. This cassette which played a prominent role in our measurement process would be a segment of our parallel experiments aimed to minimize the false positive phenomenon of the yeast two-hybrid system. We chose the NanoLuc from the part since it would produce high intensity, glow-type luminescence. Moreover, it also possesses a number of physical properties that make it an excellent reporter protein: small, monomeric enzyme, high thermal stability and so on.
