This device accepts PoPS as input and produces the LuxI enzyme. This enzyme produces 3OC6HSL.

With a VF2-VR PCR length compraison, I found that it is empty on this plasmid sent in iGEM2007 plates. --marion 07:12, 22 March 2008 (EDT) The part seems to be present in the iGEM2008 distribution, verified with VF2-VR PCR. --User:floor 3:30, 18 June 2008
