Cleavable peptide sequence from Human Calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase type IV

This is a linker consisting of a peptide sequence, which has been proven experimentally to be cleaved by the venom of Bitis arietans. The specific peptide sequence of the linker is PAPDAPLK.

Results of experiments

This peptide is one out of three that were specifically cleaved only by Bitis arietans.

In the graf below you are able to see the cleavage by all three venoms.
