T796A NMT1 promoter

NMT1 promoter used in Schizosaccharomyces Pombe. The promoter is repressible by thiamine. It is the most commonly used promoter in for S. Pombe expression systems. The wildtype sequence of NMT1 contains an XbaI restriction site and is not RFC10-compatible. To get around this, a T->A nucleotide substitution was carried out at nucleotide 796 to remove the restriction site.
