Usage and Biology

We create this spacer in order to optimize transcription terminator activity, the part was positioned between our coding squences and terminators. This part was based on an effort of [http://pubs.rsc.org/-/content/articlelanding/2017/mb/c6mb00789a/unauth#!divAbstract Rangel-Chavez et al (2016)] which proposes a consensus architecture for genetic circuits in synthetic biology and proposes that the distance from a stop codon and a terminator should be between 10 and 30 nucleotides.
