Design Notes

The specific motif we’re targeting on the intron is the 3’ splice site. Therefore, the guide sequences tend to target the end of the intron. Furthermore, the guides share a lot of base pairs because they are essentially the same sequences but shifted a certain amount. This practice of tiling guides allows us to make more precise conclusions about what intronic sequences are important for splicing.
