C-Fluc-dCas9

dCas9 is a catalytically dead Cas9 protein that can combine with target sequence with the help of guide RNA(sgRNA). Luciferase is a generic term for the class of oxidative enzymes that produce bioluminescence, and is usually distinguished from a photoprotein. BGIC-Union split the luciferase into two separate parts(NFluc:BBa_2371XXX and CFluc:BBa_2371XXX) and connect them to dCas9 protein via a linker. After connection with sgRNA and reconstitution of proteins, this paired report system can emit luminescence.
