mGFPuv2 generator

This part constitutively expresses mGFPuv2, a monomeric GFP variant optimised for excitation by UV light (360-400nm). The J23119 promoter is a strong consensus promoter and expression is high enough for colonies to display visible fluorescence in daylight.

  • Colonies of E. coli containing BBa_K1896010.

  • The same colonies imaged under long-wave UV light.
