TPA inducible RFP expression system

PETase gene encodes the PETase enzyme which can degrade PET to terephthalic acid (TPA) and ethylene glycol (EG) with another enzyme MHETase. However, the product TPA can cause inhibition of the reaction and slow down it. We want to use TPA as inductor of the promoter and this part is used to test. This system consists of the TPA inducible Leader sequence(BBa_K2110001), the enhanced promoter PGK1(BBa_K2110012),the mRFP-1 gene(BBa_BBa_E1010) and Terminator CYC1(BBa_K2110000). It can be induced by product TPA. This system is used in Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
