BKT coding sequence fused with Pea transit peptide

This part is consist of a Pea transit peptide and the coding sequence of beta-carotene ketolase originally derived from Chlamydomonas reinhardtii. Beta-carotene ketolase realizes the convertion of zeaxanthin to astaxanthin, the final step of astaxanthin biosynthesis. Sequence of beta-carotene ketolase has been optimized for better expression in Oryza sativa.
