Engineered D-Lactate dehydrogenase (D-LDH*)

This is the coding sequence of lactate deshydrogenase that can super efficiently use NADPH and NADH as cofactor. Point mutations on three amino acids (D176S, I177R, F178T) resulted in a modified enzyme designated as D-LDH*.
