Plac-BCD

K1618017 contains the coding sequence for the enzyme Butyryl-CoA dehydrogenase (BCD) of the butyrate biosynthetic pathways (Figure 1) from Coprococcus sp. (L2-50 DSM 16842) under control of the LacI promoter. Butyryl-CoA dehydrogenase catalyzes the Conversion of Crotonyl-CoA to Butyryl-CoA. At the last minute we realised that there is an EcoRI site on the gene sequence. We are working to correct this as soon as possible.
