This part is combined with BBa_K1331002 and BBa_K1331003.
It includes both the coding sequence of rhlR, rhlI and the whole noncoding sequence between rhlR and rhlI.
The purpose of remaining the noncoding sequence is to perserve the promoter of rhlI in the part to ensure the normal expression of rhlI and synthesis of C4-HSL, which together with rhlR form a regulatory system.
