Plac + POR + DVR1 + ChlP + ChlG

Composite part entailing genes at the end of the chlorophyll biosynthetic pathway, responsible for the construction of the chlorophyll molecule. Light-dependent protochlorophyllidereductase (POR), a chloroplast precursor, uses NADPH and light to convert protochlorophyllide to chlorophyllide. DVR1 is a chloroplast transit peptide. Plant geranylgeranylhydrogenase (ChlP) reduces free geranylgeranyldiphosphate to phytildiphosphate; this leads to the construction of the chlorophyll side-chain Chlorophyllsynthetase (ChlG) is a catalyst for the esterification of chlorophyllide with phytyl-pyrophosphate to make the chlorophyll molecule.
