TAT-Apoptin: Cancer killing peptide

TAT-Apoptin was designed to induce programmed cell death (apoptosis) in cancer cells, selectively. TAT signal peptide added to direct apoptin into cancer cells.

Apoptin is a novel prospective cancer drug which induces programmed cell death (apoptosis) phase of normal cell life cycle in cancer cells, selectively. The exact mechanism of apoptin is not understood, yet. But, the efficiency and results of the function are researched and pose promising hopeful results for efficient cancer therapy.
