Design Notes

This part is in RFC25 standard, which facilitate protein fusion in order to introduce other protein into mitochondria.

Source

The CDS of MLS was cloned out from pCMV/myc/mito (Invitrogen, Carlsbard, CA) using PCR with primers that includes prefix and suffix in RFC25 standard. The original source of this CDS of MLS sequence is from that of subunit VIII of human cytochrome c oxidase. (Invitrogen, Carlsbard, CA)
