Applications of BBa_J100125

Graph2New.PNG This experimental data shows the total UV light absorption for six experimental conditions testing the effectiveness of the promoter for the DNAQ gene. These include two control colonies that did not receive the promoter, one of which was exposed to UV light; and four experimental conditions, two taken from each of two colonies. Two experimental samples did receive the promoter and were exposed to UV light, and two colonies did receive the promoter but were not exposed to UV light. The following graph depicts the experimental conditions only, with an appropriate scale. Graph1New.PNG In this experiment, the promoter had no discernible effect on the experimental samples, as evidenced by the low rates of UV absorption in the experimental samples relative to the controls.
