Human Elongation Factor-1alpha Promoter

A constitutive Human Elongation Factor-1alpha (EF-1alpha) promoter to regulate gene expression in mammalian cells. EF-1alpha promtoer is often useful in conditions where other mammalian constitutive promoters (such as CMV promoter) have diminished activity or have been silenced. The origin of this part is Homo sapiens chromosome 6 genomic contig, GRCh37. p13. We cloned EF-1alpha promoter from plasmid called iDUET101a (Addgene).
