This part has been used by our team (UGA-Georgia) as a template/ shuttle vector. We used this part to clone the "gs" gene into it. This work will be presented in the 2013 iGEM conference in Toronto. This has enabled us to express the protein and achieve biosynthesis in Methanococcus.
