CAR (Nocardia carboxylic acid reductase)

CAR (carboxylic acid reductase) is a gene present in Nocardia iowensis that is an ATP/NADPH-dependent carboxylic acid reductase. It is highly non-specific and able to reduce a range of carboxylic acids. It is dependent on NPT for full function.
