Design Notes
Generally, RNA strands have a half-life that ranges between 40 seconds and 60 minutes. We use E.coli strain BL21*(DE3), which possess a mutation in the RNAaseE (rne131) gene to limit RNA degradation.
Safety Notes
The gene products of K738000 are RNAs and they will not be translated into proteins. As we know, RNA can be easily degraded, so our biobricks will not raise potentially safety problems.
