Design Notes

UP 12 designinfo BBa K929004.png

The modified AID (BBa_929001) is in RFC 10 and has an aditional AgeI restriction site. Therefore it can be fused with RFC 25 parts at the C-terminus. We cut modified AID (BBa_929001)with AgeI and PstI and eGFP (BBa_K404316) with NgoMIV and PstI and ligatet the fragments. The resulting Biobrick (BBa_K929004) is in RFC 10 and has also an aditional AgeI restriction site in front of the stop codon taa. Therefore further fusion(C-terminal of BBa_K929004) with RFC 25 parts is possible.

Source

This is a composite part from the existing parts: modified_AID (BBa_929001) and eGFP (BBa_K404316). We used RFC 25 enzymes to create this part as a fusion of modified AID and eGFP (at the C-terminus of mod_AID).
