Applications of BBa_J100079

When tested with different concentrations of theophylline, this device successfully turned on the production of GFP. Theophylline.png

Because theophylline and caffeine are very similar (a difference on one methyl group) we tested the riboswitch with caffeine and theophylline. The riboswitch did not respond to caffeine showing that it is specific to theophylline Theophylline and caffeine.png
