Applications of BBa_M36549

Overall, this part was quite cooperative in the tests that were run. One thing to keep in mind is that because of slight leaky expression, without the presence of glucose, cells grow more slowly than they would otherwise, so longer growing time should be taken into account.

This composite part can successfully was tested in K12 E.coli on a vector with ampicillin resistance and a rhamnose-inducible and glucose-repressible sensor. Significant data as follows:

Cell density increase of E. coli containing construct coupled with a rhamnose inducible and glucose suppressible sensor after 4 hours of incubation in various mediums. Cell density was measured via spectrophotometry, and error bars show a 95% confidence interval.
