We have replaced the GFP in this device with YFP (with an LVA tag). We changed the colour of the fluorescence protein so that it won't interfere with the fluorescence assays for the other devices in the collection of monitoring tools of our project. Also the LVA tag ensures faster degradation of the YFP and more sensitive and accurate fluorescence assays. The improved device can be found at Part:BBa_K676002
