Design Notes

In our experiment, the order of intensity of RNA thermometer are 37°C, 42°C, 32°C, 27°C. With the help of RNA thermometer, we can control the color of pigment by different temperatures. When the temperature is lower than 37°C, the pigment is red because the translation of crtEBI. When the temperature is higher than 37°C, the pigment is orange because of the translation of crtY that convert lycopene to orange beta-carotene.
