pJEJAM4

pJEJAM4 is a plasmid intended for transient transfection of mammalian cells. pJEJAM4 consists of the strong constitutive cytomegalovirus (CMV) promoter, mCherry, the BGH polyA, the hygR marker cassette, an ori for propagation in E.coli, and an ampR resistance cassette (Figure 1).

Expression of pJEJAM4 in the mammalian cell line U-2 OS results in a homogenous distribution of red fluorescent protein in the cells (Figure 2 and Figure 3).
