Repression-based potential AND/multiple input gate. Mnt Repressor is under the control of PenI repressible promoter. PenI repressor is placed under the control of green light inducible pCpcG2 promoter. This part is intended to be used as part of a logical AND gate (or multiple input gate) to control gene expression from pMnt. Only when green light is on and any other Mnt source is off, expression from pMnt is allowed.


This construction may be used with another one which represses mnt expression with red light and this way it may act as an and-gate.
