T7 RNA polymerase tyrosine amber mutated expression casette.


Usage and Biology

The T7 RNA polymerase have two stops codons at the begining of its sequence. The protein cannot be expressed unless a tRNA amber supressor is expressed in the cell. (for instance K606034 for B. subtilis). This strategy can be use to create an AND gate. If you want then the signal to be amplify, you can use both K606018 or K606035 for reporting.
