Applications of BBa_K415514

The MIT 2010 iGEM team used the CMV promoter regularly in mammalian experiments for high level expression of proteins. See figures on front page for characterization information. For calcium phosphate transfection of HEK293FT cells with CMV_EGFP, fluorescence is typically visible at a decently high level by 24 hours post transfection.
