CpxR Promoter with RFP Reporter and Arabinose Inducible MalE31

The CpxR promoter driving expression of red fluorescent protein (RFP). Downstream of this is an arabinose inducible promoter driving the expression of mutant maltose binding protein (malE31) with a storng ribosomal binding site.


Usage and Biology

malE31 is a mutant form of the maltose binding protein, a native protein to Escherichia Coli.
