Design Notes

The sacB sequence encodes for levansucrase enzyme of B. Subtilis. This enzyme is natively exported from B.Subtilis cells into the extracellular enviroment where it will catalyse the conversion of sucrose in to long chain levan polymers known as levansucrose glue.
