Design Notes

Cleavage sequence put in RFC12 format to accommodate fusion proteins. Sequence taken from first 37 amino acids in phaZ1 gene. The signal peptide cleavage site is predicted between Ala37 and Leu38 therefore target protein will get cleaved off if fused after Ala37. Target proteins were seen to make a halo of translucence around cells on an opaque background denoting secretion of target protein.
