Hybrid promoter (trp & lac regulated -- tac pR)
The Ptac promoter is a functional hybrid promoter, derived from the trp and lac promoters, that are regulated by trp and lac [1]. The Ptac sequence has been extracted by PCR from the commercially available plasmid pMAL-pIII from New England Biolabs (N8101S), with the addition of the biobrick prefix and suffix sequences.
