Pyrroloquinoline Quinone Glucose Dehydrogenase
PQQGDH is a dimeric enzyme produced in E. coli. It is responsible for oxidizing glucose into glono-d-lactone which is then hydrolyzed into gluconic acid. In its halo form, it possesses the PQQ cofactor that gives its redox abilities.
