Kan BsaI

Our Kan backbone is based on a vector which has previously been shown to be effective in agrobacterium transformation, pLSUK. The backbone contains several genes from the pSV1 replicon, which is responsible for replication and genetic stability in agrobacterium. This backbone served as our final vector for a gene of interest to be used in EHA105 transformation competent agrobacterium. The gene contains a blue/white selection marker which is flanked by BsaI cut sites to allow for Golden Gate assembly.
