Design Notes

The exitation and emission of each flourescent protein must be apropriate to induce FRET. The litterature was searched for a good pair and the choice was validated by useing the website https://www.fpbase.org/fret/ where apropriate exitation and emission wavelengths could be found.

Source

It consists of two flourescent proteins, mNeongreen and mRuby3, that are fused together with a cleavable linker. The linker is a typical GS-linker and Tobacco Etch Virus Protease is able to cleave a target sequence within the linker.
