GPX5 glutathione peroxidase (from Chlamydomonas reinhardtii)

GPX4 codes for glutathione peroxidase which catalyses the reduction of H2O2 into H2O. GPX4 is a non-selenium glutathione peroxidase. This part documents the GPX4 isoform (206 amino acids in length) which is predicted to be located in the cytosol based on N-terminal sequence of protein (Dayer et al., 2008).
