Qsc receptor

This is a Qsc receptor which is designed to be used in S.Cerevisiae. QscR, homolog of lasR, binds with AHL and forms the AHL-QscR complex. Two AHL-QscR complexes form a dimer and activate pQsc. There are some receptors which bind with AHL, such as luxR and lasR. Originally, pQscR exists in Pseudomonas aeruginosa and is used for quorum sensing. In Pseudomonas aeruginosa, AHL expresses constitutively and the amount of AHL is related to the density of Pseudomonas aeruginosa. We create this part in order to detect Pseudomonas aeruginosa by using the part in yeast.
